I thought exactly the same thing. Of course they just make up stuff and if the “Trump is too old” narrative does t get them anywhere they’ll just move on to something else they make up
Another poster called him fat. I can’t tell for sure but some of the available photos seem to bear that out. I disagree that he looks 80. He just turned 60 this year, and he does look 70+. So, setting aside any comparison to Trump, picking a fat, old-looking white guy doesn’t seem to be a really golden idea
This does tell me that the Democrats don’t have much of a bench these days. That is to say, they don’t have many younger people coming up. I guess they have Pete Buttigieg as an “up-and-comer” but while he’s a liberal darling, most of America is repulsed by his perverted personal life and his sloth and inattention to his current position as Secretary of Transportation. In which he has been mostly a no-show.
