Another poster called him fat. I can’t tell for sure but some of the available photos seem to bear that out. I disagree that he looks 80. He just turned 60 this year, and he does look 70+. So, setting aside any comparison to Trump, picking a fat, old-looking white guy doesn’t seem to be a really golden idea

Pairing Harris with another ultraliberal like Tim Walz would make no sense if they were serious about winning. You may be right.
One school of thought was that she would pick a slightly more centrist Democrat like Beshear of Kentucky to try to win some of the middle back. If she picks Walz, that school of thought might have been demoted to kindergarten.
LOL, this cornball brings nothing to the table for Harris. Being governor of Minnesota is basically like being mayor of Minneapolis/St Paul. The rest of the state is rural. No international experience. And the population of Minnesota is fleeing.

I’ve seen that theory put forth elsewhere, and I might find it plausible if only I could understand how the heck a Harris/Walz slopbucket ticket salvages DemonRat seats in down ballot races!
