So, portions of the highly planned and highly regarded community of Lakewood Ranch flooded because Manatee County made a "strategic release" of water from Lake Manatee, to prevent damage to the Manatee Dam. Now, you know the rest of the story. Lakewood Ranch residents are hopping angry.

Oh boy, this is governor type problem.

In the fwiw department we got 12” of rain.

Needed an airboat, john boat or a APC to get around.

Wow, that's incredible. I didn't even know there was a Manatee Dam. (My in-laws lived in Manatee County back in the 1990s.)

I feel bad for the Lakewood Ranch residents. They didn't ask for this!
