Iran currently lives under the boot of an Islamic dictatorship. There’s a lot of unrest internally as they’ve continued to tighten the screws on a populace that enjoyed a lot of freedom and prosperity under the Shah. The clergy that run Iran are like all dictators in that they must have external threats and enemies (real and imagined) in order to delude the populace into allowing the continuing loss of freedom. I believe Iran is at an inflection point where a miscalculation on the part of the ayatollahs could and will have calamitous results.
What’s the answer to peace in the Middle East? Stop attacking Israel.
The ruling Mullahs will get overthrown by the populace. Or they'll eventually moderate over time because the younger generation is not as fundamentalist.
