Is this do the election counting machines can’t get hacked?

Or is so they can be hacked? I’m confused.

Yeah, how does a DDOS attack affect systems that AREN’T supposed to be connected to a network?

Begging the premise that voting machines are air-gapped, and everything is totally legit (uh-huh), if just the network-connected reporting systems went offline for the night, the resulting delay and sudden tally jump could bring into question the election tallies. Basically this:
