He’s young.

He’s also not wrong.
But the time for this was the primaries. Now it’s too late.
However, it’s ok to let Trump know this isn’t acceptable.

As much as trump irks me, one of his best qualities is that he will listen when his bases pushes back.
The problem is that it’s hard to push back on some of his bull, bc his sycophants go bat crap crazy attacking.

And when people feel they can’t speak up, they silently go away. And then don’t show up to vote.

No one sabotaged their own side like Republicans.

It’s like we’re trying to lose.

And it is imperative, for the future of The Republic, that we do push back.

I think you confuse sycophant behavior with disgust of people who add nothing but bitch and sneer non-stop. They somehow think they are better then us and superior to Trump. You know, like childless progressive women.

I hope he’ll listen.
I’m still waiting on that “reciprocity” issue he was going to take care of on day one last term.

If one remembers George Bush really really wanted to sign an extension of the Clinton gun ban.

He couldn’t because too many of his voters would stay home on election day.

Lots of Republicans are like this; they support the second amendment because they have to get elected, not because they believe in it.

Sycophants is a perfect term for some supporters, true across all political lines.

I think people need to always speak up, share diverse opinions respectfully. They count and should always matter.

With President Trump we've seen over and over that he listens and changes direction when people speak up or don't respond.

I've been to four of his events, you miss watching on TV or the computer that sometimes he says something and there's no response, dead silence. He picks up on this, pivots, and re-engages. That's a good skills.

We've seen, recently, in fact, he'll say something, people speak up, and he reverses. Years ago I called him wobbly as it seemed he ran with a view almost reflective of the last person he spoke with. At that time it was immigrant-loving Ivanka.

In any case, we need to speak up when we disagree, when we want a different course.

Lastly, consider H1B. He's constantly telling us he supports American workers, he's railed in the past over importing workers, yet in Trump 1.0, they were not ended, numbers increased, and he even let them stay during COVID when their visas ended when they got laid off. He's still says he supports American workers yet he sat on a panel with Silicon Valley tech CEOs a month ago and told them he'd continue and even increase H1B. Of course we should speak up! And people should respect that.

On the matter of H1B, consider that both Harris and Trump have similar view, keep and increase them. That makes speaking up even more important. I think Vance will help as he's more explicit in opposing importing workers. That said, he's friends with Ramaswammy, so who knows where he'll land.

The point is we should speak up, our candidate serves us, reflects us. So say no to sycophants.

He is wrong. What mattered is the judges Trump nominated to the court, specifically to SCOTUS, which has consistently upheld the Second Amendment.

It’s like we’re trying to lose.

They are. The Republican party hates being in the majority, because then people complain about them making no effort whatsoever regarding the things they falsely claim to the voting public are their 'beliefs' and positions.

'Republicans' hate us almost as much as Democrats do.
