This is one of the extremely rare genetic disorders that do exist (along with Klinefelters, CAH, NCCAH, Turners, Kallman’s, and a few others).
I’ve had to learn all about them, as my middle child is afflicted with one of them. Born a girl, when she hit puberty she developed like a boy. Incurable and heartbreaking.
As a dad to three kids with medical issues as well, my heart goes out to you and your family. It’s pretty tough to deal with some of those situations.

A sincere question: Now that there is DNA testing, can it be used to know at birth how such a baby will develop at puberty?

You have my sympathy. I think our educational system should cover these genetic situations and encourage empathy towards people who are TRULY “born that way.”
