At least eight people have suffered stab injuries at a children's dance and yoga workshop in Southport
A 17-year-old male from the nearby village of Banks has been arrested
Police say the incident is not being treated as terror-related, and they are not looking for anyone else
The injured were taken to three hospitals, including the Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool
The children's hospital declared a major incident, saying parents should only bring patients if it is urgent

Yes, I agree, though the age is of no interest so far, except if he is shown to be olderm, then his name will be released.
So far all the info is originating from that one TV channel. However, the Cardiff info, the admonishment not to speculate, the fact that the police did not take any questions etc all speak very loudly in a particular direction.
It isn’t confirmed yet, but I would not be surprised at all.

The Cardiff comment is strange because not many people in that area are “originally from Cardiff”. I know it a bit and that is weird. Obviously not a local person then so makes you wonder

Recently, our town had a bicentennial celebration. There was a very dignified troupe of old ladies doing soft shoe.
And then there was a troupe of 8 to 14 year old girls shaking their booties, arching their backs, pouting and voguing to hip hop. A dance of sexual invitation. No adult should respond to that invitation, it is immoral and illegal to respond to that invitation, but the moves are not innocent even if the younger minds are. What are the parents thinking?
I am not blaming the victims. For all I know they were doing the most refined ballet, although I doubt it.
What I am saying is that you cannot have your multiculturalism embrace both look-but-dont-touch sexual invitations and horny young foreign men to whom that rule is incomprehensible.
They never mention under 18. Now whether it gets out another way is a different story.

There are also a number of tweets and reports in local papers that the police made a raid on a house in the Banks area where there are thought to be illegal immigrants hiding.
Yes, any thwarted resentful Muslim loser can take up the mantle of jihadi and be a hero, get his virgins in paradise. Any insane Muslim can fixate on jihad. Muslim terrorism meshes well with alienation, frustration, and madness.
My take is that when a Muslim kills, terror is at least part of the motive, whether honor killing or gang killing. Obey, women. Submit, infidels.
