Wow! That is quite a depiction and explanation. No need for me to be there or watch it since your prose has brought it to life for me. It sounds most impressive (except the headless Marie?! Yikes!). Anyway they spent millions trying to clean up the river but I hear excessive rains forced more bilge down there to make it real nasty.

I have been watching the Olympics as my daughter loves to watch them. I am ok with it but wonder about a lot of things.
Mountain biking...what do they carve a path out of a mountain, complete with trees and leaves and rocks? And male and female exercise of high bars, turning around....
anyway...Paris has failed to impress me pretty much but American athletes doing very well.
