Syria is not getting it back, and Israel won’t let it go unanswered. As much as I hate the phrase “proportional” I hope the response is measured. Full out war in Lebanon will be a bloodbath.
Oh, I’m not saying that Israel would or should be uncaring about the Druze deaths. In fact, If they could turn the local Druze strongly against Syria and / or/ Hezbollah, that would be quite useful for Israel.
