Who are these Republicans? Chickens? If they are going to make such comments, they should be willing to put their name out there. Or, maybe The Hill reporters are just making it all up.
Yeah, we know the GOP establishment is not happy with the Vance VP pick. Karl Rove authored several pieces at the WSJ over the past few weeks letting everyone know that in his expert opinion Vance would be a horrible choice.
Were those such as Rove lying to us all those years when they insisted they were working to help conservatives be elected? Or are they now being paid to change their opinions?
A few years ago, I’d listen to Rove or some of the others who are “opining” and consider what they said while worrying. Now, I just assume they are being paid or benefiting in some manner via the deep state.
When you think logically about Trump, none of his positions are that radical. They are pretty much what we all considered “middle of the road” just 20 years ago. These are the same positions the GOP establishment ran on to be elected. Rove, et al has changed, not us.
However, the fear of these people that Trump might be back in the White House, a lot wiser to the rot and corruption than he was before, makes me think the evil in DC is a lot worse than we could possibly imagine.
