Agreed. Is there hope of the ADA regulations being scaled down now that SCOTUS has come down on the old "Chevron defense"?
Perhaps—the problem is that Congress passes “big picture” laws with no details on implementation.
Even a reasonable bureaucracy would have no choice but to provide the missing details for the real world.
Then it gets wacko in a hurry.
That is why laws that don’t seem crazy on their face morph into insanity over time.
