Tulsi Gabbard was a Democrat until 2022 when she rescinded her membership in the Democrat Party. She has been independent since then and hasn't joined the Republican Party or any other party. Therefore, she hasn't switched party membership. And before you embarrass yourself again, "independent" isn't a party. She would be a terrible choice for the vice-presidential nominee for the Republican Party.
