Democrats need to make a choice. Women want a society where it is safe for them to go alone at all hours of the night or day, and they want soft-on-crime policies at the same time. The choice is either to admit that women need men, at least as escorts or protection, or to crack down on crime. They can’t have both. Freedom to take your safety for granted requires overwatch by someone.
I’d rather have the law crack down hard on violent male and female criminals. I’m not obliged to be protection for anyone I don’t know just because I’m a guy and they aren’t. I don’t have government immunity doing so either. I will protect whom I deem proper and worthy to protect.
