Just another day in Biden’s America. She left her car with the engine running. I see people doing it where I live all the time. Where I came from, people learned by experience not to do that. Before I open the door the engine to my vehicle is shut off.
I would also have all women check for this, and men check this for the women in your family: most cars now are set to unlock all 4 doors when you get in and unlock all 4 doors when you turn it off to get out. Very unsafe. Manual should tell you how to reprogram it. Manual for my older Honda CRV (but recent purchase) did not- but I found instructions on YouTube. No way was I driving a car that unlocked all 4 doors automatically at once (unlocked all 4 with first click of the key when I got it, not 2 clicks and automatically unlocked all 4 when turned it off ).
