The reasoning is simple. If they dump Harris, especially for a white man, they will lose significant support among blacks and women. It’s like saying the black woman isn’t up to the job, but white man Biden (a total zero) was.
The doctrine of DEI - Diversity, Equity and Incompetence does not allow for that possibility.
