Report: Kamala Harris Refuses to Preside over Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s Address to Congress

Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly refused to preside over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s joint address to Congress on Wednesday.

A “senior source” familiar with the planning told Juliegrace Brufke, a Capitol Hill reporter with Axios, that Harris and Senate President Pro-Tempore Patty Murray (D-WA) would not be presiding over Netanyahu’s joint address to Congress.

Too many of my friends are fervent Jewish liberals. They’d probably boycott him, too. They’ll be voting anti war with Hamas and apologizing six ways to Sunday (or Saturday) for Israel retaliating.

This address will likely further divide the Democratic Party. Does anyone think there won’t be some form of protest or disrespect from at least some Congressional Democrats during the speech? They can’t help themselves. Just as party elders are trying to paint a picture of party unity, they’re going to start imploding again.
