That level of toxicity will become apparent over the next few weeks. Nobody wants the nomination, nor the VP slot, because it is the end of their political career. I would laugh my arse off if they go into the convention with the realization that Kamala is dropping like a rock after 3 weeks of public speaking ... and they have to force someone to take the nomination. Anyone that wants to run in 2028 has to keep their powder dry. I could actually see them having a change of heart and making RFK Jr their candidate at the convention.
