Probably because Kelly was the only one power-hungry enough to say yes. Everybody else is waiting for 2028. :)
I agree. The smart ones don’t want to touch this disaster that they can see with a 20 foot pole. They know, deep down, the economy is not doing good, that Biden has been a terrible ineffective leader. They want the title, but they’re not dumb enough to stick their neck out there now And will wait for the next cycle when they think they have a much better chance with a new slate of candidates for both parties
