Your story reminds me of a YouTube rabbit hole I went down for a few weeks. I drive a lot so I listen to a lot of podcasts and YouTube videos. It was kind of funny for a bit , but just got sad and kind of depressing so I moved on.

Some how I got directed to a bunch of videos on MGTOW, men going their own way, drizzle drizzle, and women complaining about not being able to find a man or “we don’t need men(but we want one)….

A common theme is of women who bought into the feminist we don’t need men we are strong and independent…. and after 10-15 years of this and racking up body count, now they want to settle down and find a man to take care of them. They are tired of being “independent” and they can’t find one

It doesn’t help that they are all looking for a unicorn. 6’3, 6-7 figure income, fit and unmarried which is something like .02% of population and that so many talk about dating a “nice” guy but he is not “bad” enough so they friend zone him,or better yet divorcing a “nice” guy (because they weren’t happy) and now they are alone and can’t “find” anyone.

The best are the women who claim to be strong independent women, who tell the guy no to a date and then whine on camera, of course, that he didn’t chase after them. No means no right…..?

True story, my son 38 was at a gas station, 3 women had the hood up on their car and he could see they were getting ready to put antifreeze in the oil fill, he started to approach and asked if he could help, they turned around and one yelled “we are strong independent women “. He laughed said good luck with that

Here is an interesting video on women vs men

My favorite “independent woman” story was my wife’s sister who has never been married and had no boyfriend when she decided to buy a house.

The buyer’s agent she chose was her hair-dresser.

Here is the house she bought:

—Her car was too big to fit in the garage (because she forgot to measure either)
—She picked the busiest intersection in the entire metro area (because she forgot to visit the place during rush hour)
—Her neighbors spoke Spanish and did not like Anglos
—There was a property dispute with those neighbors (that she inherited) because the fence on the property line was sloppily built with parts in both properties and now the fence was falling apart
—Her basement flooded with the first minor rainstorm

Lol.

Forgot to mention—the basement flooded after she stored dozens of boxes of their stuff there.

She did not even have time to unpack them before everything in the boxes was ruined.

The guy she met up with ticked all the right boxes. Good job in the trades, polite, well spoken, Conservative. He wasn’t a Christian however, which is a deal-breaker for my daughter.
