President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.
Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.
“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”
Biden campaign workers in Delaware, where Biden has been holing up since Wednesday when he was diagnosed with COVID-19, were still operating business as usual right up until the announcement, placing calls to delegates ahead of the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

Who says he dropped out? Maybe the message was put out without his knowledge. He isn’t capable of a coherent thought much less a coherent sentence. I don’t believe he had anything to do with it. The communists who run the government have had enough of his dilly dallying and decided to remove him from the campaign before the weekend was over.
During the 2016 election, Tyrus (on Gutfeld) suggested that the Democrats should have called in Biden and his family, put a cake in front of him and congratulate him on his retirement. Have people tell him how hard they tried to talk him out of it while he slowly processes everything and begins to believe it was his idea.

I don’t think it will work. The Dems one chance is to go with someone who is a total break from the existing power structure. Give the complete destruction the last 3.5 years have reigned down on US voters, anyone tied to the existing power structure is toast.

They were useful idiots who believed the whole Weekend At Bernie’s routine was somehow the patriotic thing to do, necessary in order to save democracy, etc. We’re talking about idealistic leftwing loons here. The string pullers don’t see things that way and they finally stepped in and out flanked Biden. The Deep State has six ways from Sunday to take someone out, especially if it’s one of their own.
