Harris may pick Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania as her running mate to keep the state blue.

VPs rarely help swing an election. Shapiro is also Jewish. That would take Michigan off the board and Democrats need the blue wall to eke by.

No self-respecting Democrat would want to run with her since she most certainly will be defeated.

Shapiro could energize the Democrats in PA to vote for Kamala. They vastly outnumber Republicans. And, Shapiro could bring Independents in PA, unfortunately.

The VP pick here is very important. In addition, the MSM will be building up Kamala, doing a total remake of her so that she will be portrayed as another Joan of Arc. This will be the big story from now until November. The Republicans will be hard pressed to compete with the coverage. Their big stories—the V.P. pick and the assassination attempt—will be behind them.

The only thing not being considered is the possibility that some grave international crisis develops while Dementia Joe is still, theoretically, in charge and the Democrats get the blame for the catastrophe. Who’s in charge should be the Republicans’ attack now. By the way, Iran is within a couple of weeks of developing all of the material necessary for a nuclear weapon. How will Israel deal with this?

If Josh Shapiro is too Zionist then she’ll lose the Left. Big protests at DNC.

“Harris may pick Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania as her running mate to keep the state blue”

Are you saying that there are some Trump voters who will switch to Kamala because of her VP selection?

That’s funny

I've heard Mark Kelly.

Good balance ....one has experience in outer space. The other is spaced out.

Ummmm. I’m not sure picking a Jew would go over big with the pro-Hamas wing of the party

We’ll (we own property in PA) be glad to get RID of him.

That’s what I think. On the other hand, Shapiro doesn’t help anywhere else. For the most part, the ticket has very little time to establish themselves as candidates. Even Harris as VP has been mostly quiet, typical of VP’s.
