The proponents of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and its intellectual precursors have fought from high ground, not from a moral position, but a tactical and strategic one secured by Marxist indoctrination that has pervaded nearly every corner of society.
The deliberate and methodical campaign has successfully muted public criticism, although privately most Americans felt that there is something terribly wrong with a philosophy that prioritizes appearance over ability. DEI’s commanding role in all branches of the military has resulted in no tangible benefits but a myriad of failures—falling morale and standards, recruitment shortfalls, plummeting public confidence in the military, poor leadership, and with the exception of the Marine Corps, the inability to fulfill basic mission requirements at an acceptable level.
The armed forces have not experienced a graphic, seminal event that aroused extensive public sentiment and exposed the deterioration of all branches of the military. Even the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, which defied nearly every axiom of military doctrine, resulted with every responsible general’s career intact, and the disaster was soon lost in the mainstream media news cycle.
The few who understood the ramifications of DEI observed, “The emperor has no clothes,” were muted and repudiated as racists to be bombarded by relentless personal attacks or suffocated by outright censorship.
The attempted assassination of President Trump laid bare the outright incompetence of the U.S. Secret Service, a once elite organization led by an unqualified director who has made DEI the Secret Service’s cornerstone.
Napoleon understood the importance of personal security and the need for elite cadres to protect him and intimidate potential adversaries and assassins. The Imperial Guard, known for loyalty and extreme competence, stood at least 6 inches taller than the average height of the times and wore prominent bearskin hats to appear even taller.

Her statements, if they really were her thoughts or she was just reading the script, shows that this middle aged Woman has no business running the Secret Service, zero, zip, nada, null
Those who knew knew She was NOT the best qualified to be the Director of the Secret Service -—enter Jill Biden. ....Standards were lowered from then on.
Nothing staged—just one big accident!
The constant exaggerated whipping of their heads back and forth looked like they were acting in an improv.
The pony tail girls didn’t know whether to s*&t or wind their watches…
They all watch way TOOO much TV!!
The little ladies looked as though their comms were not working.
Maybe that is because their comms were not working.
:-)
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is/was Cheatle’s primary focus......she failed from the get go. If her 30% DEI goal remains in place Secret Service will continue to be less than the best.
The pool of actual women to hire is very low. Few apply.
The turnover rate for Secret Service is 48%
Men have wonderful capabilities that women do not have.... Women have wonderful capabilities that men do not have.
Respect and encouragement for the capabilities of each gender needs to start happening.... DEI misses the mark!
Thx for the valuable input.
The point of my post was that I believe communications was sabotaged—for all security folks on stage.
You don’t practice for that.
Equality as citizens doesn’t give us equal capability for every role.
lol......amoebas........
There’s potentially a separate commo system for every LEO entity involved.
“DEI means “the hell with merit” as long as we can have a one-legged person competing in the 100 yard dash! It’s total BullCrap! When you hear the word “Equity” run the other way!!!! It means equality of outcome, not of opportunity. So if you and I have the same job and you work your butt off and I close the door and sleep all day we both get paid the same... that’s “equity”, It’s a Marxist concept that needs to be burned to the ground!”
Absolutely. Well stated!
Larry Johnson (retired Secret Service and security consultant) said standard procedure is for one clearinghouse—command and control—which received all communications—Secret Service, Homeland Security, state police and local police.
They in turn would deliver instructions from leadership in the command center to the appropriate teams (probably the team leader).
He also said there should be representatives of the feds, state and locals in the communications center.
Understanding what happened in that center—minute by minute, second by second—is absolutely critical.
Here is the video—communications is discussed starting at the 29 minute mark:

Thanks
