How to obliterate the natural forces that say rarity determines value? (I'm on the thread topic, just a little background info first though.) The real conundrum of the ages is how to convert masses of lead (or other common metal) into gold without the gold plummeting in value just on general principle.
All the best minds in the business... are everything we've come to expect from years of government training. They've been 'working' on it.
Yet more than a couple of years ago, a few determined Patriots with brews in-hand got to thinking, that

The scarcity principle states that the scarcer something is, the more we tend to value it. This is not only an economic principle, but also a powerful behavioral bias, where our brains create an equivalence between the value of an item and its level of rarity or unavailability.
