On Wednesday, Harris sat down for a discussion in Michigan — her second on reproductive rights this year — with Amanda Stratton, a "conservative, pro-choice woman" and mother, and a self-styled "recovering Republican" in Olivia Troye, who worked in the Trump administration as a national security official.
"I don’t think 10, five or even maybe two years ago, we would have been talking about reproductive rights and elections, because it was seen as too controversial, not a winning issue — and frankly, it seemed like settled law," Troye said.
"The number of stories that I’ve heard about women, and their partners, their spouses, their families silently suffering," Harris said. A key to her public policy mindset is to consider how a given policy impacts a real human being — in this case, a mother who has become pregnant and needs an abortion, but lives in a state with stringent, restrictive abortion laws. "So think about what we’re saying to her: God help her if she’s got extra money to buy a plane ticket, and for a hotel room…go to a city where she’s never been to recieve this care, only to get back as soon as she can because she’s got to take care of those kids," she said. "Think about what we’re putting people through."
Stratton, a mother who shared her issues with miscarriage and secondary infertility — infertility for pregnancies after the first childbirth — told Harris that she’s found her expereinces to be common, but rarely discussed. And though her question moved away from miscarriage, Harris later circled back to note that the GOP’s vice presidential nominee, J.D. Vance, has blocked protections for IVF …
In a 2022 podcast interview, Vance said that he would "like abortion to be illegal nationally…”

The rats have been focusing on abortion since Roe. A woman can get an abortion. It isn’t illegal. Immoral, but not illegal. They continue to fight for a cause they already won.
Yeah, killing innocent babies is the cornerstone of their campaign.
Unfortunately their internals show murdering innocent babies resonates with millions of women.
Dismissing this by saying “it’s a state issue now” won’t cut it. They need to go full pro-life to contrast themselves from the butchers.
This “strategy” is doomed to fail.
Running on this primary premise reeks of desperation. Although an issue that will encourage many to vote for the left,it is not the focus of crucial issues we currently face.

All this is designed to do is to get Vance to backtrack and say that he’s “inclusive” too so evangelical voters will leave.
I don’t know why Trump even bothered putting out a campaign statement on abortion earlier.
The issue should be entirely ignored, it’s a huge non-sequitur.

Sadly, many women won’t realize this until they’ve killed at least one unborn.
The abortion question has shifted back to the states. Those that support or oppose abortion need to fight it at a state level.
Those that are radical pro-abortion would never vote Republican anyway so I am not sure just how effective this will be considering the economy is a mess the open border, the “homeless” and crime are much higher on the list of concerns for Americans.
