The experts conducting acoustic signature analysis disagree with that. They say Crooks got off three shots, then a second shooter fired five or six shots and a final shot some seconds later by the Counter Sniper killed Crooks. The difference in the interval between the first three shots and the interval between the next five or six shots is incredible. The second group of shots were in very rapid succession.

That second group of shots sounds completely different.
Listen to the first three. Crack thump Crack thump, Crack thump.
OK. I can believe that was an AR-15 from 125 yards away.
But then the next 5-6 shots......WTF was that? Sounded like a completely different weapon. The echo sounded very different (indicating it was taken from a different range) also.
Then a second or two later shot #9 which was the police/SS counter sniper.
Who are these “experts?” How do we know they are “experts” and not just some guys who at other times also try to persuade people they are experts at identifying sasquatch vocalizations for late night radio shows?
You don’t have to actually be an expert to make the claims and persuade a large number of nonexperts who don’t have the means, time or interest to check that your assertions and qualifications to make those assertions are real...and it is even easier to fool people who already want to believe what you are selling to also believe you are an expert. It is just a matter of bias confirmation.

The forensic analysis you spoke of, it very compelling. It also means he had at least 2 possibly 3 accomplices.
With 20 Secret Service and 19 DHS agents involved, my gut tells me the accomplices are in the DHS sector.
And that a sniper in the Secret Service group killed Crooks.
