Although Ukrainian forces are being slowly pushed back in some places along the front, the country's overall military strategy is a good one, Gen. Christopher Cavoli, NATO's top general, said during the Aspen Security Forum.
“The Ukrainians right now for these past few months have been focused on defending what they have in the east, denying Russia the free use of Crimea and southern Ukraine to attack the rest of Ukraine, preserving their access to the Black Sea and generating force,” the U.S. general said.
“I think that they’ve got a great strategy. It is just a matter of prosecuting it. The key part is the force generation,” Cavoli added in a speech on Thursday at the U.S. security and foreign policy conference.

Hard to believe, huh??
Agree. NATO served its purpose during the Cold War.
Now they’re just a NWO money-sucking machine.
Is this general getting a “cut” of the cash, and does it come out of Hunter’s or the Big Guy’s cut?
This guy could be the next Secret Service director.
Static defense strategy. The only thing they can do.
What’s with the fag lids?
Oh really? In which year did mighty Russia defeat Ukraine?
He's lucky the school bullies never found that out.
“Strategy?”
Actually, the ‘strategy’ here is very clear, and working so far. And that is to drag this war out at least past the election, so as to minimize political impacts on Biden (or whatever Democrat). Given the close relationship between the Zeepers and the NeverTrumpers (people who care who wins, just that Trump loses), you can even see it playing out here.
But the thing is, the ‘strategy’ is clear to everyone, meaning it’s also clear to Putin, which is why he’s been stepping up the tempo in Ukraine in the past few weeks.
NATO's drag queen troops are proof that inclusive militaries work, according to the HuffPost.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Top NATO general praises Ukraine’s ‘great’ war strategy, Williams wrote: Yeah they must have an awful strategy. How many YEARS have they held off Russia?
They have achieved an incredible level of success against a much larger more powerful brutal enemy.
Prove that wrong.Dying slowly is still dying. Losing slower is not like winning. Putin assumed that the Ukrainian leadership would try to save his people and the means by which his people live. Putin was wrong. Zelensky's handlers don't care about the people of the Ukraine or the means by which they live.
Slowly, the infrastructure and workforce of the Ukraine is being destroyed, leaving little for those who are not yet refugees in other countries. Yet, you brag, "Oh, but its taking awhile, isn't it!"
Putin is satisfied with the speed that Russia is winning the war and Ukrainian apologists are deeply satisfied with the speed at which the Ukraine is dying.
Is the acronym or their strategy DEI ?
That’s a lot of silliness.
Putin assumed the Ukrainians would spare their people and surrender?
It’s just taking longer than expected?
How about reality - Ukraine has fought and prevented a Russian win for over two long years.
Sure, great strategy -- Ukraine has managed to lose more than 600,000 lives, lost about 25% of its territory and its power grid is crippled.
He is delusional.
Oh man! You’re a trip. Bwahahahaha!
Amen. By fighting to survive and be free of Russian control, Ukraine has given Putin a war that he cannot win and but is unwilling to quit. Eventually though, Russia will have to quit anyway, just as the Soviet Union had to quit Afghanistan.
I do believe Biden intended to send in American troops if he got re-elected.
