Before this.. Before that.. God drew the boundaries of land given to Israel.
Israel offered land to Arafat, to have peace. He said no. What he wanted and what others want.. Is for the Jews to all be gone. Until the end of time, the hate toward Jews will continue.
They want the name, the promise, and the title.
Isaac vs Ishmael. It is already written. The Muslim teachings do not accept the teachings of the Bible as it pertains to the promised land. I don’t disagree with you. Israel was willing to surrender some of their divine land for peace. The Palestinians refused. Until they accept, there is no point in any other discussion. Cooperation on practical matters, maybe, but there can be no resolution without acceptance of Israel and Zionism.
It has been a lot of years. Decades. It is very late to ‘dismantle’ the settlements. Some of the remote outposts maybe. But that isn’t to say they can’t come up with some land swaps and other creative concepts to make a deal. But that’s the crux of the matter. Israel needs a partner in peace otherwise it’s more of the same to various degrees.
