Shouldn’t Trump’s speech be on the Breaking News Sidebar?
My take on Trump’s speech is:
1. THE OPENING-—Trump’s somber reflection on how close he came to being killed.
2. THE MIDDLE-—Trump’s standard stump speech at his rallies. This was done for the folks who have never taken the time to watch Trump’s rally speeches.
3. THE CLOSING-—Trump’s encouragement to all that GREATNESS IS A GOOD ATTITUDE to have.
So I agree the MIDDLE was too long for me as I have watched many of his rally speeches, but Trump knows there are others who have not.
after watching the speeech, my genius observation is:
He’s going to close the border!
The MSM is busy criticizing the speech because it was too long. Biden’s speech will be maybe two sentences. He’ll be praised for its brevity.
My feeling is that the Convention was the best ever, but that Trump himself kind of had a bad night.
Of course, Trump having an off night is so much better than what we have been getting for the last 40 years that there is no comparison to any possible rival.
I don’t want to get too cocky, but Trump looks like he has things under control.
Trump covered a lot of things in his speech and showed the contrast between mumbles and himself.
yes it was long, but every idea was a declaration of policy.

Trump spoke for 93 minutes, exceeding the record he set in 2016 for the longest nomination acceptance speech at a convention.

The entire world is aware that President Trump's life was saved because he had literally turned aside to see. He gave God the full credit.

I listened to his speech. Trump didn’t miss a beat. He was on top of every second. It was like a fireside chat with friends. He spoke for roughly 1.5 hours and was calm, gracious, humorous, very thankful to God, and absolutely flawless.
His ability to flawless for such a long time was intentional. It shows sparkly the difference between him and Biden who slurs every sentence, mangles others, and at times becomes incoherent.
It was 3D chess. Brilliant.

I think the whole speech boiled down to “rise together or fall apart.” That’s the future in a nut shell.
