If there was a second shooter, why didn’t Trump get shot on the way to the car when his head was not protected most of the time? I’m not saying Crook acted alone; I think he was set up, but I don’t think the hit was as sophisticated as the JFK hit.
I’ve read it’s harder to shoot a moving target - which is why some folks are angry that the SS folks kept Trump on stage standing still while they were hugging him like sheep afraid of the dog (I don’t think a huddle is SOP). Another weird thing is the female SS throwing Trump’s shoe off stage at the same time he was asking for his shoes, which added seconds of delay to his egress. I’m still not sold on a second shooter, either, but the definitive answer would be discovery of mismatched slugs extracted from the injured/deceased, or embedded in the stands or surrounds.
