I knew almost nothing about Trump and had no opinion, one way or the other. Then I heard him for the first time and I was immediately stunned by the common sense I was hearing a politician say.
I was a conservative Republican from the age of 8 years old when I watched Eisenhower’s convention along with my Democrat family. But hearing Trump, it was the highest percentage of points on which I agreed with someone ever before. And he did it in a way that made me laugh and shout and applaud. THIS was the man I wanted to follow and trust.
I still feel exactly the same way today.

I had read a lot about Trump and knew he was an astute businessman but the first political speech I heard and it was “bam” — that’s who I’m voting for!
