Seriously so people are making a fuss about a 30 minute more speech seriously that’s it..the speech itself was supposed to last an hour so he went 30 min over big deal..I just think he went a lil off script shouldn’t have mentioned the cheating not necessary but damn it was an awesome speech after what he went through I don’t think he wanted it to end
I’m on the East Coast and had no trouble staying awake thru the whole speech and even into the balloon drop and the wonderful renditions of “Nessun Dorma” & “America the Beautiful”
Pres. Trumps speech was an expanded version of what I’ve listened to at his rallies.
The beginning part covering the assassination attempt & aftermath seemed to be a very important (and cleansing) addition.
I have only watched parts of other conventions (both R & D) and I thought the pacing, the stage management (I was in theater crew & know how important this can be) & the overall eclectic and at times unexpected & verging on controversial guest speaker list was top notch.
I might not have known who Amber Rose was, but my kids sure did, and so did her 20 million followers.

It was a lost opportunity to persuade some voters who aren’t sold, and don’t have the patience or time to sit through a 93 minute speech. They have to get up for work in the morning!
Fortunately the Democrats have more lost opportunities.
