Good to hear. I was a little worried. I just think folks have to understand that this is a speech given following an extraordinary event in this country’s history, and shouldn’t be viewed through the lens of everyday politics. No matter how long it is, it will resonate with the average person in a powerful way, far more effectively than if Trump had just breezed by a few minutes of reflection on the assassination attempt and then launched into a rote, meat and potatoes stump speech. Anything people missed if they did tune out early (and I doubt very many did) can easily be seen after the fact in clips that will be everywhere.
