An editor at a major news outlet wants the press to stop using the iconic photo of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump because it represents 'free PR' for his campaign.
The unnamed editor told Axios that sharing the historic photo of the former president standing after he survived the attempt on his life is 'dangerous despite how good it is.' Their outlet wasn't named either, but it said to receive millions of regular readers.
Liberal-leaning Axios reported that multiple unnamed photographers told them they were worried the image taken by Pulitzer winner Evan Fucci could turn into 'photoganda' by the Trump campaign to 'further their agenda, despite the photographers' intent of capturing a news event.'
One photographer said the photo could become a 'propaganda machine' and make Trump a 'martyr.'
The photograph of a bloodied Donald Trump with his fist in the air and an American flag looming in the background is quickly emerging as the pivotal image of Saturday’s shooting.
Video of the assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally filled television screens before it was even clear what had happened.

Unbelievable.
I spent some time in Mexico on a business trip. I was shocked that everyone referred to the USA as “America”. Mexico is an American country, too.
LOL, you might be right :)
But otherwise, an inaccuracy in my post regarding DSLR ..... of which, (as with Kodachrome), the 'R' portion
of DSLR is gone as well. Still single-lens, but they are now fully EVF (electronic viewfinder),
so no more reflex prism/mirror in modern pro cameras for viewing and metering.
You can get t-shirts with the picture on Amazon. Mine is supposed to arrive today.
You're right. But this one is still there:
Doesn’t matter. It is AP, NBC, CBS, NPR, and ad nausium. They are all plucked from the same pile of feces.
The sick pedo degenerates known as democrats love to re-write history in their favor.
In truth these people should be brought up on charges of historical malfeasance or at minimum, sued in court for every penny they are worth.
Do you understand the difference between a regular "search" and an "image search"?
“Why was he there that particular day.”
And in perfect position. What did he know?
And yes, I know the difference between a “regular” search and an image search. I would guess that the photo is copyrighted, and that has something to do with why you only find it in news articles.
I put it immediately on my desktop for wallpaper, aint coming down, tuff chit.
IMO? Evaluating the threat level of this camera guy who jumped forward.
Oddly enough Joe Rogan commented, as he was watching a replay, on him being where he was coolly doing what he was doing as everyone else was taking cover. The guy with Rogan added “And pointing a black thing at the president…”
Something like a day or two before 9/11, the leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, a chap named Massoud, and aligned with the US (as the Taliban had control then) was having his picture taken, when BOOM, the ‘camera’ went off and he was killed.
I don’t know how well the SS inspects cameras, but if they manage to root-out DEI and revoke their apparent ‘contract’ on Trump, they might want to look into it.
My guess he’s scanning for any other attackers while trying to get Trump to safety.
Fixed it for ya.
If you do a “image” search you get nothing. If you serach “all” you get links to pages with the pic embedded. But like I said an “image search” reveals the pic has been scrubbed.
Do you understand the difference between a regular “search” and an “image search”?
They AREN’T USEFUL!
