These are the most malicious types of media activists. They start with the goal in mind, then they search out for anything they can use to support it.
I would bet the farm that this wasn’t a story that made it to the editors desk. In fact, the impetus came from the top and went down to the writers and staff. The Goal, use “MAGA” and associate it with racism.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they have it on a banner on the wall at newsweek, much like a mission statement.
It’s a nonsense story about a couple of kooky people who they want to associate with the political right. They wouldn’t write such an article about Louis Farrakhan supporting Biden. Indeed they wrote articles about Biden renouncing Farrahkan’s support.
I have no question but that Fuentes is paid to make our side look bad. He is despicable.
