No, I haven’t, although I would have loved it, I’m sure.
I think my aversion to this bandage thing is deeper. I really would like (although it’s probably not possible) all of the “spiking the football” (for lack of a better description) that’s going on to cool down.
When I hear everyone talking about how they couldn’t take him out, how God protected him, how he was shot at but got up and fought, etc. it makes me nervous. Don’t get me wrong, I agree with all of it. I just fear some lunatic (and there’s plenty of them) listening to this and getting more and more angry, and more and more determined to complete the job, if you know what I mean.
To an evil person, it’s almost like a dare. It makes me nervous and I think the Rs are doing such a splendid job with this convention, focusing on the real problems. That dear lady whose son was knifed to death in NY because of Alvin Bragg made me cry, as did the dear lady who lost her oldest boy to fentynol. So many good speakers. So many quality stories. It’s been a wonderful convention.
Oh, and I love Vance as well! I like all of the hats and buttons and the tea bags would be funny as heck. I guess maybe I just feel like the ear bandage is a little on the dark side, maybe a little too soon? I could be wrong.
Can’t go through life worrying about the loonies (unless your saving Canadian money). :-)
But be vigilant!
Regards.
