Freshman class of ‘94. Once they’re in it’s too much to take them out. No one to step up. It’s worse for senators. Every incumbent should have a primary challenger to keep them honest, at least for a little while. McCarthy needed a challenger that didn’t want him to be speaker. Ended up quitting all of a sudden.
