There's nothing wrong with Burghum per se, it's just like watching McConnell 20 years ago versus watching him today.
Burgham is fine today, but he's not the foundation upon which to build tomorrow. Use his accumulated knowledge and wiseom by putting him in a Cabinet position, but don't hook your posterity to it.
