I was going to correct you, but you corrected yourself.

So I'm going to say that you probably were thinking about Patrick Fitzgerald who was the Jack Smith of the Bush era.

Fitzgerald was going after all the Bush advisors the way that Smith and his ilk are going after President Trump's.

People might remember when we used talk about "Fitzmas" when the LAAP-dog media would report that Fitzgerald was about to arrest Karl Rove at any moment.

Fitzgerald ended up jailing Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff Scooter Libby over the Valeria Plame hoax of an "outing," even though it was actually Richard Armitage who was the leak of her CIA status.

An interesting post-script of that whole fiasco is that Armitage's grandson Iain Armitage became an actor and portrayed "Young Sheldon" for seven seasons on CBS. This just proves that we don't condone "corruption of blood" in the United States.
