Brought a tear to my eye.
Of all the things I respect about my Dad (and even with his lifelong alcoholism, there are a lot of things I respect about him) the thing I love and respect most about him, is that he got sober, and he did it because he so loved his family.
I know how much that had to mean to JD Vance.
