Biden Circle Shrinks as Democrats Fear Election Wipeout

WASHINGTON — In the nearly three weeks since President Joe Biden took the debate stage in Atlanta and plunged his reelection campaign into chaos, his closest consultations have been not with his White House chief of staff, his top communications strategist or even the leader of his campaign.

Instead, he is relying on members of his family — a tight-knit clan that includes his son, Hunter, and the first lady, Jill Biden — along with a tiny group of loyalists to steer him through a self-created crisis and quell a rising rebellion against his candidacy from within his own party.

The result is a historic standoff between Biden and his small inner circle on the one hand, and broad swaths of voters and elected Democrats fearful of an electoral wipeout in November on the other.

It’s a battle Biden has seemed to embrace in recent days. When asked Monday night about whom he consults on issues like remaining in the race or dropping out, the president offered a terse response: “Me.”

“Look, I’ve been doing this a long time,” he said in an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, adding, “My mental acuity’s been pretty damn good.”

Biden has expressed frustration to allies that people do not seem to accept that he is mentally cogent and fit to lead, according to a person familiar with his thinking. And he believes his polling should reflect what he sees as his accomplishments.

Anyone else notice how anti-democratic the so called Democratic party is?

A cabal behind the scenes is trying to override the will of their own voters ,who chose Biden in the primary process

To paraphrase a line from Dumb and Dumber, “I wouldn’t vote for you if you were the last Democrat in America.” “So, you’re saying thete is a chance I will be elected?” Biden and Harris: Dumb and dumber.

The progressives hitched their wagon behind a lifelong pathological narcissist whose deepening dementia only makes him more stubborn to get his way. As their rotten scheme collapses on itself, they all richly deserve to go down with him.

Pretty soon, they'll fit comfortably into the Führerbunker.

The RNC speakers are effectively humanizing Trump. Very successful convention so far.

Biden has not consulted directly with the pollsters on his 500-person campaign team about the state of the race against Donald Trump but has instead relied on Mike Donilon, a longtime friend, former pollster and Biden campaign messaging guru, to summarize the numbers.

LOL. I would love to read one of those summaries. "You're doing just fine, Joe." Written in crayon with a couple pictures to keep his attention.

Slimes talks like someone in an existential crisis between hope and despair. Talk of Biden “embracing the battle” betrays a rather forlorn hope that he can still prevail just through bluster. The rest is based on the awareness that he can’t cut the mustard.

I think all the would be successors have resigned themselves to a Trump wipeout. And none of them want to get it on them. So they will let Joe twist and try again in ‘28.

The great strawberry hunt at the White House will be beginning soon.

I know I want to know who really stole the strawberries!

The DNC would have tossed Biden a long time ago but they can’t convince Jill Biden to do it. I wonder how many links she has to Alexander Soros, the son of notorious financier George Soros.

Anyone else notice how anti-democratic the so called Democratic party is?

But look at the irony. The Democratic party behaved in an un-Democratic manner by installing him as the leadership anointed candidate at the last minute, even as his candidacy was flailing, during the primaries in February 2020.

Now, they want to assert that same un-Democratic privilege and boot him out. Someone should ask him this question. If the leaders had let the primary voters decide the nominee organically in early 2020, it would not have been Biden, who came in 4th in Iowa and 5th in New Hampshire.

“a tight-knit clan that includes his son, Hunter, and the first lady, Jill Biden — along with a tiny group of loyalists”

I think they spelled “RICO act co-conspirators facing prison time” when they lose wrong.

Trump wipeout.

Talks of wipeout and landslide are getting dangerously close to complacency. Let us not take the eye off the ball until AP/CNN/FoxNews declares the winner on the evening of November 5.

Talk about withering on the vine. It’s like watching a flower that needs daily watering wither before your eyes during an extended drought.

Does this mean that Dems stealing the election is not the sure thing I thought it was?

That for some reason they now dare not?

Or what?
