Thanks, I just looked it up on Google Maps. There’s a park named for Martin Luther King at that corner.
In the 1960s my dad had a business a couple blocks from there. AS kids, we would run around that area, 8-10 years old, no parent. Today, I would NEVER go in that area.
I am guessing they had to assign police from out of city due to the convention. I can’t imagine what kind of police force Chicago will need during the commie convention.

As always, take Rosa Parks Drive to John Lewis Freedom Parkway, stay to Malcolm X Road, cross the Whitney Young Bridge and park in the lot next to the Martin Luther King Park.🏙️🚙
