Forensic analysis suggests that as many as three weapons were fired at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The FBI said Sunday that the shooter acted alone.
The first three shots were consistent with alleged weapon A, the next five were consistent with alleged weapon B, and the final “acoustic impulse” was emitted by a possible weapon C, per audio analysis by Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, Senior Professional Research Associate at the same institution.
Audio analysis has also confirmed that the gunman was about 360 to 393 feet from the podium, according to forensics expert Robert Maher.
This conclusion aligns with CNN’s analysis that the gunman was on a rooftop 393 to 492 feet from the podium when shots rang out.
The shots exemplify a “crack-pop” sequence, typical when a supersonic bullet passes a microphone, before the “arrival of the corresponding muzzle blast sound,” Maher, who teaches audio forensics at Montana State University, told CNN.

But it explains why a kid who can't shoot almost nailed a head shot under duress.
There's also a lot of information to suggest an inside job. A second shooter is explosive.
But the audio forensics can be wrong because of potential noise reflections.

This lines up with what I was telling my wife, and what eyewitnesses on the ground have said. They said officers on the ground were shooting at him.
The first shots were his, the second round of shots were an officer (or officers) returning fire, and the third was the counter-sniper shot.
Nonsense. Lone wolf. FBI says so. They knew everything about this guy within 24 hours. Case closed.

The poster said something was off on the audio.
A giveaway would be if the bullets from the dead man and the two other victims were from the same rifle or not.
Guess is we will probably never know since the FBI is in charge of the investigation.

Thats just it. Blind luck. He also nailed the hydraulic system of tractor way off to the right of the stage from his point of view. You can see the hydraulic fluid spray out and the bucket drop on the tractor. He was spraying shots.

Have you heard they’re now reporting 30 minutes on the snipers. There were also some SS on the roof and inside the building but no one bothered to secure Trump so I can only label this an inside job, a planned assassination. No wonder Trump looked a bit off last night knowing his security can’t be trusted.

We do know 100% for sure at least guns were fired, the one that nearly killed Trump and the one that killed the would be assassin.
This article could be entirely true, except as you say, two of the guns fired were back at the assassin.

Just curious, since he doesn’t live near the site...how did he know of the roof access point would be unguarded, and that he’d have the open space to get a clear shot?
It sounds like he did a lot of last minute preparation (purchases). Leaves no letter to the parents? No manifesto?
