Forty years ago, I stood at the Western Wall and slipped a little piece of paper between the ancient stones.

My prayer was that the president of the United States would put the US Embassy in Jerusalem, where it belongs.

Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama, all skirted the issue during their presidency. There were fears, I guess, of offending “The Arab Street” as I recall.

No matter what happens, President Trump will always have a special place in my heart.
