New video shows the chaotic aftermath of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and reveals what led to the former president visibly asking for his shoes back. Initially dazed, Trump told agents: 'let me get my shoes, let me get my shoes' as he got up from the ground.
The video covers an angle previously unseen amid the chaos from behind Trump as he spoke. It shows the Secret Service tackling Trump and removing his shoes and tossing them off the stage. Trump himself has also seen the bizarre side of the incident, confirming what was visible on the video clip in the first interview he gave after the shooting.

I’m sure! Women, and I am one, can do a lot of things these days. But some things they should not.
I worked in a ductile iron foundry as the production control administrator for a time. It was a tough environment. Like dealing with sailors. Sexual harassment was simply part of the job and didn’t bother me in the least. I ignored it, gave them a piece of my mind, and in one case slapped a guy across the face with such force no one dared bother me after that again. That all said, there were zero women working in the melt department for VERY GOOD REASON. It was deadly dangerous and very, heavy work. Not only that, but the men needed to concentrate on what was going on around them. Not being distracted by a female nearby.
They did hire one girl who lasted less than a week for numerous reasons. One being she couldn’t handle it physically. EEO was on us all the time to hire more women, but it was not really possible in that environment. Those ladles of molten iron weigh over a ton each and there was a man on each side to guide it as it was moved by the track attached to the ceiling. That girl was useless when the thing started moving her way....just saying.

I think the reason is that she didn’t want Trump or the agents to trip over the shoes as they walk off the platform in that direction. The shoes were in the way
Yeah, that tower is exactly where they should have had a team to cover that entire approach, including the roof top the shooter used.

The shooter was still active and they had no idea how many more could still be out there. Tripping over shoes could be a real problem. Besides, Trump does not exactly wear sensible shoes so it's probably safer to get him off stage without them
I’ve been in those foundries. They are dangerous. I’ve seen those molten ladles. Nothing to mess around with.
The shooter was put down by a USSS marksman with one shot from a semi auto precision rifle.
