New video shows the chaotic aftermath of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and reveals what led to the former president visibly asking for his shoes back. Initially dazed, Trump told agents: 'let me get my shoes, let me get my shoes' as he got up from the ground.
The video covers an angle previously unseen amid the chaos from behind Trump as he spoke. It shows the Secret Service tackling Trump and removing his shoes and tossing them off the stage. Trump himself has also seen the bizarre side of the incident, confirming what was visible on the video clip in the first interview he gave after the shooting.

Agreed. I could see some use cases for women in the SS, such as security detail in inner chambers for the first lady or other female family members. Or in a large speaking event like Trump was at with many SS members, perhaps it'd be good to have a few people with a smaller body frame who could dart through the crowd if needed to catch an attacker.
But not as the last line of defense against bullets near Trump. Her assignment for that role was like buying a Yugo to haul a large trailer.

These women need to be reassigned out of protection details.
Leftists don’t realize that DEI demeans and permanently handicaps the people it putatively empowers. DEI recipients will never succeed because they don’t have the talent, skills, attributes to do the job they are shoehorned into.
The success they might have known if their positions were merit earned (wherever that might be)) will be forever denied them and the industries they are placed in will be debased and fragmented. The attitude of entitlement fostered is maladaptive and will distort and poison their personalities.

The female agent that helped cover Trump accomplished one thing. She was short enough so he was caught on camera pumping his fist and yelling fight. THE picture that will get him re-elected.

The videos shot from the front make it look like the audience behind him is close. This angle shows how much room he had at the podium.
Last night, Erik Trump praised the SS agent with the bun. He said that she was part of the detail that protected him. She’s half his height, how effective could she be?

I’m a girl and a war vet. Our hair had to be short or up, secured. There were no ponytails on duty. The swinging ponytails are a complete embarrassment to us who are proud to represent the sober, intelligent and effective defense of iur country
These girls were put in there for reasons other than the defense of Donald Trump and that’s an abuse of our once great SS
Looking at footage from last night’s RNC convention, several tall, serious SS surrounded Trump on his way out. Thats how it will be from here out.
Any of those photographers rushing to take photos could have been an assassin.
What was he wearing? Flip-flops? Shoes don't normally come off when you fall down.
