I’ve seen the conspiracy theories about her here and there. Maybe she just had nerves of steel? (or was crazy?)
I was working in my office outside the core department when we experienced a “pop” as they called it. Scared the crap out of me and shook the building. I’ve also watched them fill those ladles from the melters (we used medium frequency) and molten sparks fly everywhere. Since steel toe boots, helmets, safety glasses, and fire retardant coats were mandatory I’d stand aside and watch from time to time. Really is a fascinating process.
About 6 months after I left the company there was an explosion. 3 people lost their lives, and another paralyzed for life. Many burned or bones broken. Where the explosion happened was directly under my old office which wound up 2 stories under ground. One woman who lost her life was in the office next to mine. :(
“Official” determination was leaking natural gas, but I know for a fact it was the t-gas which leaked all the time. We all knew it, but let the officials say what they want. Place closed down and is now nothing but an eye sore.

Trump stated that his shoes fell off when SS took him down. The SS officer who through Trumps shoes off the stage didn’t anyone tripping over them has they lead Trump away. I don’t see any fault in that.
yeah, this is what I’m coming to understand as the reason. My quandary is simply that I thought it would be better to position one’s self between Trump and any potential gun fire. Not housekeeping. Besides, where those shoes were picked up was the opposite direction from the way they were bringing Trump out/down from there. Unless they walked backwards the shoes were never in anyone’s way.
Call it the “fog of an assassination attempt.”
The SS screwed up in so many ways that throwing the shoes off the stage is a non-event.

Upper left corner outside of supposed security perimeter is the high point in the area, a water tower which is only about 5 to 10 degrees separation from Crooks location.
We need some aerial photos taken during the rally, 3 people witnessed active shooter on top of water tower. A sniper would have been much more accurate from there rather than a 20 year old who was quoted to be a terrible shot in HS.
At least 8-12 shots supposedly from Crooks, Trump also took a bullet in his protective vest.
