It can’t be Rubio unless the Republicans are willing to risk having Harris as Trump’s VP per the 12th Amendment.
I was watching News nation last night, I was pleasantly surprised its not such a bad network..and the guy being interviewed said that its right now between Rubio and Bergam but that there is someone else on that list that no one has mentioned that might be a contender he cant say the name but he said it would surprise everyone
I often use the term Deep State and it is reasonable for folks to wonder who exactly they might be.
The Carlyle Group (and any successors, assigns, or spinoffs) is definitely one of the players.
Lockheed is another one.
Boeing is another one.
The largest and most powerful lobbying law firms are there as well.
Then say just kidding. LOL
Youngkin doesn’t secure Virginia and he doesn’t help anywhere else. He would be a bad choice.

One commentator, I think it was Dan Bongino but not sure, said all Trump has to do is select someone who won’t hurt him.
Trump sucks up all the oxygen in any room he’s in and just needs someone who is competent.
My guess is it will probably be Vance.
It will not be Rubio because the Florida electors then cannot vote on a vice president which could throw a wrench into politics if the election is close.
