EVAN VUCCI was part of the AP team that was awarded the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography for coverage of the aftermath and protests of the death of George Floyd.
His documentary video work has been awarded a National Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of a platoon of American soldiers, and their families, during a 15-month combat tour in Mosul, Iraq. A 2000 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Vucci’s work has taken him around the world, but now focuses primarily on politics in the United States.
