Does one REALLY pack up a rifle, drive down there and expect to carry that thing anywhere NEAR the event?? Seriously??
And, what are the odds of that building being un-secured?
Even more so - as BEJ said - what are the odds that he knew that the building was un-secured??? These are astronomical odds.
There is NO way this kid slipped in there with a gun unnoticed by security. No freaking way.

I’ve been screaming this question the past two days. Thanks for asking this key question. What are the odds that the shooter, dragging around a rifle, can find the only building without security with tens of thousands of people and dozens of security personnel wondering the fairgrounds?

And what about the reports of a cop who actually got up on the roof and saw the shooter and then turned and went back away? What the hell was wrong with that guy. Why didn’t he pull a gun on the shooter right then?
